Joe has asked me to put this on here Saturday there will just be one time trial per tec card and then a dash for the cash which you can enter one time per tec card so if you buy 2 cards you can still get 4 time trials it will cost 10 dollars to enter this per entry per card the track keeps half the pot and winner will be determined by best package. So if you need extra passes come out Friday night for the tnt and gamblers race this will help the race get moving a little quicker and put more money in the tracks and the racers pocket any questions feel free to ask. See everyone Friday and lets have fun and win some money..

So you only get one time trial and if I want a second one I have to do the dash for cash for $10? Then explain to me what the dash for cash is and how it works? Best Package? Not trying to fuss but I just don't understand. We drive quite aways to come race. Impossible for us to come Friday night to TNT.

That is a good question. If you do not want to join the dash for cash do you not get a second time trial?

Not trying to fuss but I just don't understand. We drive quite aways to come race. Impossible for us to come Friday night to TNT. Jimmy explained it to me, and yes your right, its the best package. Say we get 50 entries and each one enters that dash for cash at $10 each, that is $500 so the best package out of the dash for cash would get $250 and the track would get $250. If you buy two tech cards you would get 4 time trials. So lets say you buy two tech cards, each would be a different color. So we would call time trials for NO/E blue, then time trials for NO/E red. Then if you entered the dash for cash you would get another time trial when we called NO/E blue dash for cash and then NO/E dash for cash Red. I hope I didn't mess that up, but Jimmy will see it soon and correct me if I'm wrong! If $10 for a time trial is going to stop you from coming....I'll give you $10 just to have you here!! I understand not everyone can come on Friday and I want to be as fair as possible. Just trying to make the track some money so I can keep going! LOL

That is a good question. If you do not want to join the dash for cash do you not get a second time trial? Yes that is the case...but if you can afford $100 to enter a race, $10 more dollars will not kill you. If it does, I would recommend a new hobby like collecting stamps or something. I'm not trying to be rude, just the fact is the track has to make money and bracket racing has not made me one penny....well maybe one...but you get my point.

Joe, like I said before, we'll be there regardless. I hate to be a buzz-kill. And I don't mean to ruffle feather's. But you're getting a lot of really bad info. 1st, you say double's don't count. 2nd, you propose a race that pay's more, at less car's. Now, 3rd, you're gonna tell travelling racers that they only get 1 free time trial in a 5k race. Anyone who's ever been to a Big $ race (other than Sallisaw) know's how screwed up that is. I've been to a lot of CDRA races, probably more than anyone who's ever even been to Sallisaw. And Carl Blanton never has just 1 TT, unless it's the last day of a Multi-day race. Just a suggestion, but you may want to make a phone call to either Jarod Pennington, or Steve Stites. They are the promoter's of the WFC (World Footbrake Challenge). Both very nice guy's willing to talk, as well as very accomplished racers. And you won't find more knowledgeable folk's about race promotion. Let me know if you want their number. Good luck, and we'll see you soon.

JOE Mumma - is Jimmy running your bracket program and index program?

This is crazy! Im going to make one post on this.
YES, Jimmy is advising me on my bracket program, i am NOT a bracket racer. When i took the track over i had/have a general knowledge of how bracket racing works. I had a lot of questions and Jimmy helped me with them. He has been at the track EVERY weekend it has been open, his wife announces and works the tower FREE. Does that make them more important than anyone else? NO, but it shows they will support me so I value Jimmys advise.
Jimmy is not running the indexes for me, i know how they work. It was actually a couple racers that came to me with the combo idea so i tried it and I liked it, and so did most racers I talked to. Running a class with two or three cars is just plain stupid and doesn't do anything for me making money, or entertaining the fans, and as a racer i never enjoyed winning over 2 cars, how hard is that.
Now as far as the big race, you wers only getting 2 time trials anyway, jimmy told me the dash for cash would help me make more and give the racer an opportunity to make more.
Im not changing it, if you guys dont want to come support me, fine! This will be the last of bracket racing and ill do a big shootout a month like ken wanted in the first place.
I would suggest not argueing about this anymore.

Jeff, I do want to address a few things you said.
First, I said double entry didnt count because first off, my lack of understanding of how it worked. Second it sounded like a pain to keep track of in the tower and third I didnt know how, if you entered twice, you were gonna keep your car cool enough to make a pass and come right back up. So like i said, I take responsibility for that confusion because of ignorance lol.
Now as far as the race paying more with less cars.....I may be dumb but my calculator tells me $5700 is $800 more than $4900 assuming 49 Cars....now I will admit, i didn't do the math at 48, 23, or even 10 cars....maybe the payout does get higher the less cars we get?? So now that I got my smart elec comments out of the way, I know you ment it pays more down further. But I also now know racers would rather spred the cash further down, and i have no problem with that.
So I guess what im saying is, yes i have a lot to learn about putting on a big bracket race, but the advice im going to take is from someone who has supported me from the beginning.
And just so everyone knows, Jimmy is not the only experienced bracket racer that has been helping me. I wont mention his name because he may not want to be drug into this.
I hope i haven't caused any hard feelings and you guys decide to show up......without a gun! Lol

Sorry if you think I'm trying to ruin this race Jimmy. My intention was only to point out discrepencies that Stevie Wonder could clearly see. If nothing else, Joe can make a more informed decision now.
