Hello,
I saw the flyer posted on a local forum in the NWA area. I used to come down to Sallisaw and race in college and was looking to start trying to make it down again.
Only question is my car is a street Chevelle but I do run a M/T Radial so I guess that means I can't enter the street class.
Are the only other options test and tune or Pro Bracket? The car is not fast enough for the 7.0 index class. I do not see a time standard for the Pro Bracket class. What type of cars usually run this class?
I've bracket raced enough in the past to know it sucks being the slowest car in the group so I'm just curious as to the best class to run.
It's a ls1/4l60e swap car that I basically daily drive, but it does have a converter making passes on a 400 treadwear street tire fairly useless. Average times with the new heads/cam are 7.55-7.60 when it doesn't spin.
Thanks and hopefully I can see you guys soon!
Kevin

Looks like a perfect No/E or Some/E car If they allowed the ET Street Radial in Street Class then the ET's would get out of hand as well as the advantage they would have over the guys running a true radial... My Street 69 GTO as opposed to the one in my signature pic can run into the 6's on a ET Street radial but I run it on a true radial at Sallisaw...

Is Pro the same as no/E? Or is the no/E class just not listed on the website?

If it was the sportsman pro or s/r, either would be fine, but not a drag radial. I promise, you will not be the slowest in the Pro bracket class! Dont let the "pro" part scare you, its still no/e with some "e". Its a long story! lol
