Looking forward to doing some 1/8 mile index racing this year...!
Questions...
Is any time quicker then the index a breakout? As an example in the 6.0 class a 5.999 pass ends your night, correct? I've seen some tracks that will allow .001 under for some reason...
And... If both racer's breakout does the win go to the lesser breakout, or are both disqualified? Seen this done both ways...
Anyone else looking forward to the index classes?
Ray

Yes, if you run 5.99 in a 6.0 index you are out as long as your opponent does not break out worse. If 5.99 was good, that would be like saying a .399 light is perfect, not red! Next thing you know they will run electric shifters in NoE! (sorry I couldnt resist).
If it is a double break out, the person who breaks out the worst is the only one out.
