There will be a points program.
I will do the same thing c'ville and I believe tulsa does and add either $3 or $5 to the entry and use that for points payout. As far as what the points program will pay, that is unknow at the moment. It will be based on percentage. I will try to get some sponsors to help make it more.
We will vote on what the entry should be, If I cant get enough people to agree, it will be what c'villes entry is. Also all bracket classes will be 100% payback, buy backs will go to the track.

I know racing season is close, but I have a customers car I am restoring and its almost finished, I have to stay focused on that project until its done and then I will be focused on making the track work.

sounds good i would like to see the entry fee around 30 for no-e and maybe 40 or 45 for super pro with five of each entry going to points fund and maybe this will bring the fun back to the bracket racing and make it not be as much about the money also sell fifty fifty tickets to add more money to the fund im sure u would have no problem getting volunteers to sell them for u thats one thing centerville does and it adds some extra money to the pot that wouldnt be there and gives a spectator a chance to win a little as well just one mans thoughts but im sure several would agree thanks man and good luck!!!!

Sounds good, I will try to help raise the payouts any way I can. Hopefully I can get some sponsors, but getting people to let go of money is tough these days.

I believe if you advertise this track (which I know cost $), if you are able to stay firm with the $5 spectator fee (other than shoot-outs) and keep cars running down the track, you will be able to build the crowd. Not much people can do these days for $5 bucks, that makes it real appealing for folks.
Ft. Smith has some racers, unfortunately they go other places, it would be really great to get their attention and lure them to Sallisaw. Not sure what it will take to get these guys attention, but I will be talking to a chassis builder out of Barling that does some heads up stuff and see if he is interested and making a visit.

I will be doing radio ads, flyers, newspaper, internet, anything I can do to get the word out. It does cost, but it proved to be worth it last time I did a couple races. What you said about the Ft.smith racers is true, the track has been ran so poorly in the past, they just wont come back. Not to mention the surface isn't the greatest (this is no secret) but the money isn't there to resurface it. I would build my own before I did that anyway! I know Kevin, Im going to make my way up there, along with Pro Speed and Dyno and Performance. At least to drop off some flyers. Thanks for any and all help getting the word out!
